My 22 months old Sony Vaio S3XP laptop, which I used for daily work is for sale. If you are interested, then feel free to place a bid via eBay.

For sale:  Sony Vaio VGN-S3XP

After about 21 months I decided last December to replace my laptop with new one.  I have been doing all my daily work with that machine, so this is the unique chance to get hold of a computer which had the original IntraWeb sources on its hard drive. I have to delete them though, before it ships – but its still a nice collectible item.  ;-)

This laptop is used of course, but it is still in a good condition. Nothing is broken, esp. the screen has no bad pixels (as far as I can see). I really liked this machine and thus I bought its successor last month (a Vaio VGN-SZ3XWP/C).

This machine comes with a full Windows XP Professional license, you will have to re-activate it though. As I activated that license only once, this should an easy process. Out of curiosity I tried Windows Vista, which installed seamlessly. Even Areo worked fine. A Vista license is NOT included though.

The original price was almost exactly 2000 Euros (excl. VAT) back in March 2005, plus the upgrade to 2 GBytes I installed later. So I’m asking for about 1000 Euros (w/o VAT) for this machine.

To place a bid, please go to ebay.
Availbale from Thursday, Feb 8th, 19:30 GMT+1. If you want to give a bid earlier, then please send me an E-Mail before that date.
