OMEA Professional is a free (soon to be Open Source) “information system”, which aggregates Newsgroups, Blogs/RSS feeds, emails, contacts. Its definitely not just a fancy news reader, its a different concept. Downside: not written in Delphi 
If you have to watch a lot of different newsgroups, want to keep informed whats going on at several blogs sites, want to watch changes of web sites etc, then OMEA Profesional is worth a look. Its an object oriented aggregation system of several different information resources.
It has views and action rules so that you can filter the data in the way you need it. It makes it much more easy to find new messages. It also keeps track of all of your threads, which have new answers.
Don’t get confused of the “Professional” in its name. They decided to make it available for free since version 2.2. They are also preparing it as OpenSource release.
