We are proud to announce that Delphi 2007 and IntraWeb 9.0 aka The VCL for the Web have been released over the last weekend.IntraWeb 9.0 is bundled with Delphi 2007 Enterprise and Professional. CodeGear even gives you a better value with Delphi 2007 Professional compared to previous Delphi versions: In Professional SKU IntraWeb Application Mode is included now. It is limited to 5 concurrent sessions, but thats enough for small Web applications. If you need more, then you either should buy Delphi 2007 Enterprise or a separate IntraWeb license from us.

See the IntraWeb feature matrix of Delphi 2007 Profesional vs Enterprise for more license infos and differences.

License error in Delphi 2007 Professional

Unfortunately there is one (basically cosmetically) issue which has slipped through QA: In Delphi 2007Professional you will see the following exception if you run any IW application through the debugger:

This exception is actually handled, and does NOT MEAN of course, that Delphi or IntraWeb are not correctly licensed. Do not worry, the license is perfectly ok. You did not pay for a trial version.

You will not see this exception if your IW application is run outside the Delphi IDE or with Language Exceptions turned off. In other words, you can use your compiled Web applications without any issues in production environments.

This exception is not by design and is caused by a misunderstanding between Atozed and CodeGear R&D during the integration process. We already have an internal fix for that. Stay tuned until further announcements by us and/or CodeGear.
