Disqus is a really neat commenting system. It integrates easily with your existing blog, so there is no need to change your blog provider. In fact it even helps taking your comments with you, if you should decide to change your blog system.

It works with WordPress, MovableType, Tumblr, Blogger, and TypePad out of the box. If you use something else, then you just need to add a tiny JavaScript snippet to your blog (which is what I have done here with IntraWeb Studio).

They have an anti spam system, which, from what I have read in various blogs, seems to work pretty good. You also get a dashboard, where you can manage existing comments (including deletion). Email notification with automatic reply to blog, SMS notification is planned. Fully threaded views, open or moderated commenting, user ranking and more …
